These Chains - Hot Chip.

I almost can’t believe that Hot Chip released Over & Over way back in 2005. 2005! That’s 8 years ago. I remember how I freaked out the first time I heard a DJ play it in a now-closed club somewhere in Cape Town, it was my absolute favourite dance track at the time. That said I didn’t ever really get into their albums, and they weren’t on high rotation in my iTunes - until their most recent album In Our Heads which was released earlier this month.

These Chains is probably my favourite track - but it is a stone cold banger of an album from start to finish. I highly recommend listening to it with some seriously good headphones.
