Dearly beloveds, our song today is a deeply spiritual odyssey - or should I say oddity - as it brings together the vocals of jazz legend, Sarah Vaughan, the orchestration of Lalo Schifrin (best known for the Mission Impossible score) and the lyrics of Polish poet, Karol Józef Wojtyła - better known as Pope John Paul II. It’s a luscious piece of cosmic soul searching - with lyrics that would be a bit hippie if they weren’t delivered with such gravitas. Oh - I forgot to mention that it’s fucking awesome…
